This is my first time flying on Virgin America. I must say that my experience has been wonderful.  I like the LED lights in the cabin, purple / pink tone. It is easy on the eyes.  Also, It makes me feel like I’m on the set of “Soul Plane” If you have never seen that movie, stop what you are doing, find a tv and watch in. It will melt the skin off your face. I had always thought to myself that he just said “I’m going to Disney World” unprovoked, as if he was joking.  ”I just won the Super Bowl and now I want to have fun at a theme park.”  Well, I should have known better.  The folks over at Disney are brilliant, especially the wife of Disney CEO Michael Eisner who came up with this campaign.  Disney paid Phil Simms $75,000 to say that after the Super Bowl. That seems like a lot of money for just 5 words. But the impact was massive. Just about every athlete says that line after winning a major sporting event. What’s Next? </p> <p> In 1987 a :30 second spot was roughly $575,000. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the folks at Disney are Brilliant.  ”I’m going to Disney World” could be one of the most memorable campaigns ever made by a company.  I wonder if Disney sees an increase in tourists around or after major sporting events, in hopes they will see the Super Bowl Champs or the actors from the Mighty Ducks. Note that these bags are made from *old* banners. These banners hung in San Francisco’s city streets and took abuse from the fog monster. We cleaned them well before we cut and sewed them into bags, but the banners have markings and imperfections. We think it makes them look rad because every bag is a little bit different.
